Energy
for everyone.
Energy
for everyone.
Our Motivation
Briyo is from the Philippines, a country rich in sunlight, wind and flowing water, and yet suffers from the highest electricity costs in Southeast Asia.
This inspired Lance, our founder and a materials engineer, to seek locally-made solutions. He found his first solution in bamboo, “nature’s carbon fiber”. From this, he developed a patent-pending process to make bamboo turbine blades, and soon after founded Briyo Energy to bring his product to life and create affordable but durable energy for his country, and then the world.
Team Briyo continues to innovate to create more powerful, yet increasingly affordable energy solutions. In less than two years, Briyo has grown to manufacture with 3D printing and applying frontier materials science to design and test solar, wind, and hydro systems that work in the harsh Philippine climate. With this, we can create more affordable, reliable energy for everyone.
